Joint Event for Local BIPOC Businesses
On August 29th 2022, Pete Heilgeist and Andrea Rodger attended a joint event for BIPOC Businesses: “Do Business with Western Washington University and the City of Bellingham”
An outreach event for local BIPOC businesses in our community. The goal was to meet with WWU and COB, learn about doing businesses with them and become registered as vendors. In addition the Washington State Office of Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (OMWBE) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) were on hand to talk about the process of being certified.

Western Washington University sponsored this month's networking breakfast. They connected with local businesses, to answer questions and provide information on working with the university.

World Kindness Day 2019
The Contracts, Procurement, and Travel Services Team chose, for World Kindness Day 2019, to host a coat drive to benefit Blue Skies for Children.
